Netopia’s Professional Services Organization (PSO) is a team of highly qualified individuals committed to helping Netopia partners make the most of their Netopia products and services. The PSO team provides customization and integration services for Netopia-hosted products and services as well as those licensed and hosted by the partner.
For nearly a decade, PSO has been providing hosting, design, and consulting services to carriers, service providers, software vendors, and other partners. In addition to professional services, PSO encompasses technical integration and quality, which ensures end-to-end quality assurance across Netopia’s products – from its extensive portfolio of broadband equipment and associated embedded software to installation wizards, remote control technology, DSL Forum TR-069 remote management specification interoperability, and value-added services.

Hosting Operations
Netopia offers world-class hosting services that allow its partners to quickly implement its solutions while increasing operational efficiencies and easing pressure on internal systems and personnel. Housed in a state-of-the-art co-location facility in Richardson, Texas with fully redundant capabilities at a failover co-location facility in Billerica, Massachusetts, Netopia delivers high-availability Internet connectivity through MCI’s high performance, high-capacity international network.
National Design Center
Netopia’s National Design Center (NNDC) provides fulfillment of custom Web site services. For example, NNDC creates custom Web sites for small businesses listed in online yellow page directories as a fulfillment service for the service provider offering the online yellow pages. With a team of over 60 people, the NNDC quickly delivers a professional online presence for small businesses, and has designed tens of thousands of custom sites for a wide range of industries.
Services QA
To ensure that its services perform to the high level of quality expected by Netopia and its partners, the Services Quality Assurance team conducts extensive testing prior to general release of any new service or upgrade, including testing against Netopia broadband equipment and associated embedded software.
Partner Consulting
From project management to database administration and engineering, PSO is available to assist partners with a wide variety of consulting services, including:
- customization of Netopia products and services to enable partners to promote their own branding and look and feel
- integration of Netopia products and services into the partner’s existing business systems or products, including OSS systems, CRM systems, or custom systems
- project management of customization and integration
